6th, 7th, and 8th grade NFMS students have the opportunity to participate in girls' or boys' basketball, cross country, or track.  

8th graders have the opportunity to try out for the following JV sports: football, volleyball, wrestling, basketball, swimming, baseball, softball, and soccer. 

VHSL physicals are required for students participating in school sports. 

Cheer and girls' volleyball are being offered through Shenandoah County Parks and Recreation (540.984.3030). Please contact them with any questions about these offerings.
